As a media coordinator born and raised in picturesque Ashe County, I find joy in the simple things that life has to offer. My educational journey took me to Appalachian State University, where I earned my teaching degree before continuing on to receive my Masters in Library Science.

Reading remains my cherished escape, transporting me to distant lands with every turn of the page. Traveling awakens my sense of wonder, allowing me to experience new cultures and create lasting memories. Some of my most treasured moments are spent sipping coffee with my dearest friends, sharing laughter and conversations that warm the soul.

At the core of who I am lies my family's cattle farm, nestled in the majestic mountains that have shaped my identity. This haven of rolling hills and fresh mountain air serves as a constant reminder of my roots, grounding me in a way that nowhere else can. It is here where I find solace, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the unwavering love of my family.

While my professional pursuits keep me engaged, it is the simple pleasures that truly fulfill me – the smell of a new book, the thrill of planning my next world adventure, and the comfort of familiar faces over a steaming cup of coffee.
